It is our mind which really determines our experience of life and it can be our greatest asset, or our greatest hindrance. When we allow our mind to run on automatic pilot then nothing will change, our conditioned way of thinking and acting will direct us down familiar paths with familiar outcomes. Take2 - Directing your Best life empowers you to do something different, to take control of your own mind, to reprogramme any negative patterns, and take your rightful place as the Director of your own life. Then the action can really begin and you can start to create the life you really want. Contact us to find our more or join our next workshop.
Mindfulness has been shown to have a powerful influence over our mental and physical health and can alleviate the disconnect we often feel between mind, body and spirit. But where do you start? When we eat we are often not only trying to satisfy a physical hunger but also an emotional one. There is a strong link between our mind, our body, our emotions and the food choices we make. This half-day workshop explores how mindfulness and CBT can be used in combination to raise awareness of our current eating patterns and how they are linked to our thoughts and emotions. With this understanding we can then begin to develop a mindful, more nutrition based relationship with food giving our body what it needs to thrive.
