My passion is to help people in midlife cultivate the health and well-being needed to live a long, vibrant and fulfilling life. We are all unique and have unique lives and unique dreams but many of us find those dreams derailed in midlife by failing health, loss of direction or motivation, or just a sense of being stuck in the 'same old'. But it doesn't have to stay that way as I found out.
Having spent much of my career working in personal development, mainly as a counsellor and trainer, I decided in 2014 to take a 'senior gap year'. It was then I realised my focus had been primarily on developing the mind and that my body was not, at that stage in my life, 'fit for purpose', I didn't have the energy, vitality or flexibility I needed to travel with ease.
Luckily I was in a position to do something about it and I threw myself into the study of health, nutrition and how we age. This led to a complete transformation and I now travel regularly, I'm four stone lighter, have plenty of energy and flexibility, and am free to live my life in any way I want.
And I still love working in personal development, only now having added Health Coaching and Mindfulness to my 'helping toolbox' I really can offer a holistic approach, supporting you in a way best suited to your unique needs.
